Boosting your listings

:::info Open it in ZonaCNC πŸ‘‰ Go to My Listings (boost) on ZonaCNC β†’ :::

A boosted listing appears at the top of search results and category pages β€” exactly where buyers are most likely to see it. It is the fastest way to increase visibility for a specific machine and, in turn, receive more enquiries. To boost listings you need Boost Packs, which you purchase by card through Stripe's secure payment gateway. Keep in mind that some plans already include boosts, so check your current plan before buying.

How to buy boosts (payment)

Boosts are sold in packs. Each pack gives you a set number of boost credits that you can then apply to whichever listings you choose.

  1. Sign in and go to your seller dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Boosts or Boost Packs section.
  3. Choose the pack that fits your needs and click "Buy".
  4. Complete the card payment through Stripe's secure checkout.
  5. Once payment is confirmed, your boost credits become available in your account to use whenever you want.

:::tip Check your plan before paying Some seller plans already include boosts. If yours does, you don't need to buy a pack β€” just use your included credits directly from My Listings. :::

Prices are not listed here as they may change. Check the Pricing page for the current cost of each pack.

How to boost a listing (usage)

Once you have boost credits available β€” either from your plan or from a purchased pack β€” applying them is straightforward:

  1. Go to the "My Listings" panel.
  2. Find the machine you want to boost.
  3. Click the "Boost" option on the listing.
  4. Confirm the use of a boost credit from your plan or available pack.
  5. Verify that the listing now appears at the top of its category results.

The boost lasts for a fixed period. When that period ends, the listing automatically returns to its regular position in the results β€” no action needed on your part.

:::warning Boosts expire A boost is not permanent. Once its period ends, the listing reverts to its normal position. Plan when you activate it to make the most of peak demand periods. :::

Tips

  • Boost your highest-value machines or those you need to sell quickly: that is where the uplift delivers the best return.
  • Before boosting, make sure the listing is complete and has good photos. You will gain visibility, but conversions depend on the quality of the listing itself.
  • Concentrate your boosts on a few listings rather than spreading them thin β€” the effect is diluted if you boost too many at once.
  • Pair the boost with a competitive price, then check your statistics afterwards to see the impact on views and enquiries.

Common mistakes

  • Boosting an incomplete listing: it appears at the top, but buyers won't reach out if key information is missing.
  • Buying a pack without realising your plan already included boosts.
  • Activating a boost during a low-demand period and wasting part of the boost window.
