My Offers (Quotes)

:::info Open it in ZonaCNC πŸ‘‰ Go to My Offers in ZonaCNC β†’ :::

When a buyer expresses interest in one of your machines, you can send them a formal offer or quote with a specific price and terms. The offer is delivered inside the same Messages conversation and can include a PDF document. It is the way to put concrete figures and conditions in writing without needing to close the sale on the platform β€” the final agreement is reached directly between the two parties.

Section "My Offers"

Use this feature once you have already spoken with the buyer and want to move from a general conversation to something binding: the amount, what is included, timelines, or any other condition you want documented in writing.

Steps

  1. Open the conversation with the interested buyer from your Messages inbox.
  2. Create a new offer linked to that conversation (or to the listing you are discussing).
  3. Enter the price and the terms you want to propose. If needed, attach a PDF with the full details.
  4. Review all the information carefully before proceeding.
  5. Send the offer. The buyer will receive it inside the conversation and can read it and reply.
tip

Be specific: state what the price includes (shipping, VAT, installation, warranty, etc.). The clearer the offer, the fewer back-and-forth exchanges you will need afterwards.

warning

The offer is a commercial proposal between you and the buyer. ZonaCNC does not process payment or handle delivery β€” the deal and the payment for the machine are agreed and settled directly between the parties.

Tips

  • Attach a PDF when the offer has multiple line items or conditions; it looks more professional and prevents misunderstandings.
  • Keep the entire negotiation within Messages: this way you have a tidy, searchable record of everything discussed.
  • Check your conversations regularly so you can respond promptly to interested buyers.

Common Mistakes

  • Sending a price without clarifying whether it includes VAT or shipping.
  • Closing the deal through another channel and losing track of what was agreed.
  • Forgetting to review the offer before sending it and having to issue a correction in a follow-up message.
